Employee Documents and Uploaded Payslips
Match Line provides a secure employee document vault for HRMS organisations.
What Match Line does
- Stores uploaded employee documents securely
- Assigns documents to employees with categories and visibility
- Allows employees to download documents marked employee visible
- Stores uploaded payslip documents with pay-period metadata
- Supports bulk migration via manifest CSV + ZIP package
What Match Line does not do
- Does not process payroll
- Does not calculate salary, tax, or deductions
- Does not generate payslips
- Does not verify legal validity of uploaded files
Uploaded payslips are documents, not proof that Match Line ran payroll.
Employee access
Route: /hrms/my-documents
View and download documents assigned to you with employee visibility.
HR access
On employee profile (/hrms/people/<id>) — upload, list, archive documents.
Route: /hrms/migration/documents — bulk migration.
Categories
Employment contract, offer letter, payslip, policy acknowledgement, certification, benefits, tax document (uploaded), other.

Supported file types
PDF, PNG, JPEG, DOC, DOCX — max 10 MB per file.
Malware scanning: not performed in controlled pilot.
Bulk migration
Manifest columns: external_employee_id, filename, category, optional payslip dates and currency.
Employees matched by external_employee_id only — not by name.
