What country onboarding sets
- Organisation
country_code,locale,currency_code,default_timezone - Default leave policy row (entitlement template)
- Standard working pattern (
STANDARD) - Holiday calendar shell (name/code; dates added manually)
Date presentation
Driven by organisation locale. Use YYYY-MM-DD in CSV imports regardless of display locale.
Regional / location configuration
locationis free text on employees- No separate region hierarchy beyond country template
Holiday calendar
- One default calendar per org from onboarding
- Dates: operator or admin adds holidays manually — no automatic national holiday feed
Leave policy
- Organisation-scoped policy
- Entitlement days, carry-over cap set by country template at onboarding; view summary on
/hrms/leave - Not country-specific law engine — adjust fields to match your policy
Per-employee overrides
Import columns: country_code, holiday_calendar_code, leave_policy_code, working_pattern_code.
Changing country after onboarding
Re-run onboarding only if product allows; otherwise operator assistance. Country change may not retroactively fix all employee assignments.
